About the Opportunity
Carrington Centennial Care has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its welcoming team, on a permanent part time basis.
You will effectively provide a high level of clinical services to residents.
Some of your more specific day-to-day duties will include:
- Effectively and positively leading the work team;
- Providing quality, clinical care services to residents, planning and conducting group activities, and planning and monitoring service delivery plans;
- Providing one-on-one on the job instruction or training small group sessions and providing coaching and feedback
- Overseeing the safe and correct practices of medication management
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of policies and care practices.
Carrington offers flexible working arrangements for its staff. This role is working three days a week 9am - 3pm - perfect for someone with children or wanting to retain their lifestyle!
To be successful in this position you will need current registration in NSW as a Registered Nurse.
You will be a committed individual with a focus on outstanding client care, backed by superior communication skills. You will be able to work under pressure, have the ability to meet deadlines and possess excellent time management skills.
In addition, you will have the ability to work unsupervised as part of a close knit team. A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement principles, using initiative and creative problem solving is also important to this role.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with equivalent to NSW Public Hospital Nurses Award wage as follows: $24.93 - $35.01 per hour.
Generous salary packaging options, up to $16,050 pro rate per annum, are available with 100% of the benefit going to the employee. This salary packaging has the potential to significantly increase your take-home pay.
