About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the rapidly growing world of online travel with Quickbeds as an Online Travel Consultant.
Based in Brisbane, and working as part of the Global Support / Sales team, the primary aim of this position is to act as a help desk for consumers, consultants, suppliers and affiliates while also responding to any client queries.
More specifically, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with consumers and Travel Agents;
- Assist with driving the goals and strategies of the Quickbeds business;
- Providing support to FCL Product Teams through ongoing competitor analysis and identifying product opportunities;
- Responding to all queries promptly;
- Maintaining a detailed audit trail for all bookings and transactions; and
- Adhereing to Quickbeds operational standards and philosophies.
To be suitable for this diverse role, you'll have a proven sales ability and be comfortable with achieving set KPIs and targets. You will also be required to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as you develop effective professional relationships with suppliers, partners and consumers at all levels.
Most importantly, you will be an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic looking for a long term career, not just another job! Ideally, you will have a demonstrated understanding of wholesale and retail travel, with a hotel reception or reservations background. Experience working with the Calypso reservation management system will be held in high regard.
