About the Opportunity

The ApplyNow Network (ANN) is expanding and presently offering limited cadetship opportunities to high calibre students as Part-time Business Development Consultants, based in Taringa, Brisbane.

To apply for this role you will need to be available for 20 hours a week. ANN is student friendly and offers a flexible timetable to fit in with your uni schedule.

This is a great way to get your 'foot in the door' in an industry that is highly relevant to your study and to implement skills that you have been learning.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around (but will not be limited to);
• Targeting recruitment packages to the needs of industry stakeholders;
• Making contact with an existing client base;
• Networking and creating new contacts by cold calling employers; and
• Promoting the ApplyNow.com.au, BlueCollar.com.au, NfpJobs.com.au and TravelJobs.biz job board products as viable and preferable recruitment options.

Best of all, 20% of your time will be dedicated to a project directly related to your university degree, such as E-Promotions, Newsletters, Branding Design, Communications, Publicity.

The successful candidate will have completed at least one semester of a relevant degree, i.e a degree with majors in Business Management, General Management, International Business, Marketing, Communications, Commerce or Human Resources.

Applicants with previous experience in Marketing and Sales will be viewed favourably, however, this is not essential.

These are fast-paced roles requiring high call volume and accordingly, we want positive, outgoing, self-motivated and enthusiastic people who aren't afraid to suggest new ideas and work towards implementing new and improved processes.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to'think on your feet' and to navigate your way around a computer easily.

To reward your commitment, you will be offered an attractive hourly rate circa $15/hour + incentives. Our key part-time Business Consultants make up to $500 each week.
