About the Opportunity
Govan Industries has a unique opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their vibrant Melbourne team.
Based in the Campbellfield office, the Estimator will aim to provide efficient and accurate quotations for clients, dealing predominantly with international customers and enquiries. You will also have some Account Management responsibilities, between the client and organisation.
Some of the specific responsibilities of this role will include:
- Making quotations based on customer specifications;
- Answering customer enquiries and providing effective technical solutions;
- Managing customer relationships;
- Understanding the production schedule, ensuring deliveries to customers meet expectations;
- After sales service if required; and
- Obtaining customer feedback.
To be successful in this role, you hold a Bachelor or Diploma of Engineering (Electrical), with experience in a similar Estimator role. Importantly, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with people of all cultures.
Govan is interested in receiving applications from enthusiastic team players, who have exceptional time management skills and fantastic interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you will also have the ability to estimate multiple projects at the one time, as well as a solid understanding of the construction Oil & Gas / Electrical Manufacturing industry.
