About the Opportunity
The Leukaemia Foundation has an exciting opportunity for a Business Relationship Manager to join their WA team.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager the primary purpose of this role is to develop and manage business relationships to generate income through events, campaigns and/or specific tailored partnerships.
The successful candidate will also work as a key member of the State and National teams in the delivery of the World's Greatest Shave and Light the Night campaigns and in the development of new national and state fundraising initiatives.
Some of the key duties of this role will include:
- Co-ordination of State Based business relationships/sponsorships;
- Assist with management of national relationships/sponsorships;
- Formulate specific action plans to develop the corporate supporter base;
- Development of strategies to maximise business contacts ensuring long term support;
- Implementation of recognition strategies;
- Recruitment of corporate participants for national events/campaigns such as World's Greatest Shave and Light the Night;
- Identification and sourcing of cause related marketing opportunities, and
- Development and implementation of a workplace giving programme.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and business relationship development and the successful coordination of sponsorships, fundraising and/or cause-related marketing campaigns to achieve revenue targets. Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field are desirable.
Exceptional communication skills, a high level of initiative and experience in preparing and managing budgets is essential.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a remuneration package circa $70,000.
