About the Opportunity
PHE Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor to join its highly qualified team in Tumut, NSW.
Joining a supportive team, you will be based at the Visy Pulp and Paper Plant, which has recently commissioned a new process plant. This varied role will see you contributing to maintenance projects to achieve a safe and highly reliable plant, with minimum down time.
Reporting to the Electrical/Instrument Engineer, some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide technical support for shift technicians;
- Plan, co-ordinate and supervise day workers;
- Identify, source and procure spare and replacement parts for electrical, instrument and pneumatic systems;
- Identify future maintenance requirements for new and existing equipment;
- Draft and implement PM routines for new and existing equipment;
- Source, procure and supervise contractors and specialists;
- Liaise with production and engineering customers;
- Carry out day-to-day trouble shooting; and
- Assist in minor projects.
The successful candidate will hold an Industrial Instrumentation or Dual Electrical/Instrumentation qualification. In addition, experience in the pulp and paper industry would be a significant advantage, but is not essential.
Importantly, you will have the ability to tackle challenges head-on, ensuring the job gets done to the highest standard.
