About the Opportunity

PHE Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor to join its highly qualified team in Tumut, NSW.

Joining a supportive team, you will be based at the Visy Pulp and Paper Plant, which has recently commissioned a new process plant. This varied role will see you contributing to maintenance projects to achieve a safe and highly reliable plant, with minimum down time.

Reporting to the Electrical/Instrument Engineer, some of your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide technical support for shift technicians;
• Plan, co-ordinate and supervise day workers;
• Identify, source and procure spare and replacement parts for electrical, instrument and pneumatic systems;
• Identify future maintenance requirements for new and existing equipment;
• Draft and implement PM routines for new and existing equipment;
• Source, procure and supervise contractors and specialists;
• Liaise with production and engineering customers;
• Carry out day-to-day trouble shooting; and
• Assist in minor projects.

The successful candidate will hold an Industrial Instrumentation or Dual Electrical/Instrumentation qualification. In addition, experience in the pulp and paper industry would be a significant advantage, but is not essential.
