About the Opportunity

BPA Engineering is enjoying an exciting period of growth and is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Subiaco, Perth. 

This is a highly varied, all-round role that will involve the candidate managing a range of projects. You will also be expected to develop efficient and innovative designs and procedures to improve the organisation's performance and capabilities.

As this organisation is multi-disciplinary, the candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in land development works, commercial developments (large and small), project management and general civil engineering design.

You will work closely with the supportive BPA team, and this energetic and dynamic team culture continues after hours, as staff often take advantage of the nearby restaurants, gyms and nightlife. BPA Engineering is looking for a flexible person who enjoys autonomy and 'owning' their projects. They must be clear thinking and driven to achieving both individual and team goals.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering;
• Be a member, or eligible for membership, of the Institute of Engineers;
• Be fully conversant and experienced in current stormwater drainage design practices including WSUD;
• Have excellent project management skills including contract documentation and administration;
• Have substantial experience working in the field;
• Possess sound knowledge of MS Office; and
• AutoCad and 12D knowledge and/or skills would be advantageous.

The applicant must have significant experience in civil engineering design of all size of projects, and being a boutique, generalist company, applicants with diversity in their engineering background will be at an advantage. This is an exciting leadership role that will see you helping to manage the day-to-day work of Designers, Drafters and other staff. You will be highly organised and self-motivated as well as possess highly developed written and oral communication skills.
