About the Opportunity
Beaucare has an exciting opportunity for a full time Program Team Leader and a permanent part time Therapy and Support Services Team Leader to join their dedicated Aged and Disability Services team at Beaudesert.
Both roles will plan, develop, implement and monitor Aged and Disability Services, with the Program Team Leader focusing on individualised programs and care plans while the Therapy and Support Services Team Leader will attend to the Therapy and Support functions based on a therapeutic model of care.
More specifically, both roles will include:
- Providing leadership, guidance and direction;
- Ensuring service delivery reflects the clients ongoing needs while being conducted within budget;
- Monitor and evaluate programs or service provision respectively to ensure client's needs are met;
- Ensuring client assessments are conducted annually, where possible in collaboration with families and carers;
- Ensuring care plans are maintained for each individual client;
- Plan and monitor rosters and transport arrangements; and
- Supervising service staff in the delivery of services or programs.
To be successful in the Program Team Leader position you will require a Diploma in Diversional Therapy or equivalent, as with the Therapy and Support Services Team Leader where you will require a Diploma in Community Services Coordination or equivalent. Both roles require the applicant to have team supervision experience in a leadership role within the Aged Care industry.
The successful applicants will require experience in planning, development and implementation of quality programs, or quality services respectively, for the aged and/or disabled client group as well as the ability to conduct client assessments and develop individualised care plans.
Candidates will be extremely organised with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to form positive workplace relationships and collaborative partnerships.
Although not essential, tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, a current driver's licence, Senior First Aid Certificate and a Positive Suitability Notice would be highly regarded.
In return for your hard work and dedication, applicants will receive an attractive salary of $44,482-$46,55 pro rata per annum plus fringe benefits and salary sacrificing to significantly increase your take-home pay!
