About the opportunity

Unidel has an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounts payable officer to join their established business services support team in Brisbane.

The primary purpose of this role will be to provide direct support to the Financial controller to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier and contractor invoices.

More specifically, you will be involved in:

  • processing supplier and contractor invoices
  • scheduling and processing suppliers, personnel expense reimbursement payments
  • completing monthly supplier statement and corporate credit card reconciliations
  • ensuring month end close of accounts payable ledger is in accordance with published timetable
  • liaising with suppliers, clients and personnel to resolve any issues with invoices or expense reimbursements
  • processing client receipts into the accounts receivable ledger
  • providing support with the accurate recording and barcoding of company assets

Unidel is seeking a dedicated and pro-active applicant with significant demonstrated experience in a similar role. You will require medium-advanced knowledge of microsoft office programs, particularly Excel 2007/Quick Books/MYOB accounting packages.

This role will suit a highly organised team player with the demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and set up processes and monitor your own work achievements against agreed objectives. You will have excellent communication skills enabling you to develop relationships with a broad range of people. A willingness to learn, and a capacity for persistence and patience in a sometimes challenging environment are also important.
