About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to lead the Sydney sales team, and drive the business to the next level of success.

Based in the Flight Centre North Sydney office, you will be responsible for the success of the Sydney business, growth in staff numbers within the team, sales, margins and profits. You will be responsible for inspiring the Sydney Account Executives to be successful and empowered.

Reporting to Melissa Tudor, National Sales Leader, the responsibilities of the role will be to:

  • Formulate and strategise the growth of the team
  • Ensure the right people are recruited and retained
  • Lead by example, by developing and maintaining your own client base
  • Coach and inspire your people
  • Liaise with relevant Employment Office and Flight Centre businesses to ensure the appropriate level of product and services are being provided to your clients
  • Perform monthly financial analysis with accountants to highlight strengths and weaknesses
  • Develop and maintain friendly business relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Formulate communication systems and plan for the growth of your team
  • Coordinate and participate in SWOTs, meetings and Buzz nights

The successful applicants must have:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a leadership position
  • The ability to set and drive budgets coupled with a strong results orientation
  • A determination to succeed and a personal drive that is second to none
  • Passion, discipline and persuasiveness
  • Exceptional ability to motivate and excite staff towards set goals
  • Financial analysis experience with unquestionable results orientation
  • Proven oral communication and presentation skills
