An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join the award-winning team at Spicers Peak Lodge.
The Executive Chef will be integral to the Spicers Peak Lodge operation providing all menus and meals for up to 30 guests and up to 100 for weddings and functions. From gourmet breakfasts and picnic lunches, to canapés and three course dinners, this is a standout opportunity for a passionate Chef.
The role will ideally suit an outgoing personality with appropriate qualifications and experience, preferably including experience in fine dining and quality Australian fare. The on-site kitchen is located in the luxury common area guests use to relax and dine, so a readiness to converse with guests is essential. As part of a two-person core team, willingness and capability to assist your partner in other operational requirements of the business is also essential.
You must possess a current driver’s license and hold a current First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
As part of this small team and award-winning Luxury Lodge, team members will occasionally be asked to assist other departments as required. A ‘hands on’ attitude with a high focus on exceptional customer service is therefore a must.
