About the Opportunities
Spicers Tamarind is offering fantastic opportunities for a Day Spa Receptionist and a number of Massage Therapists to join their growing team in Maleny, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Within these positions, your primary aim will be to provide the highest standard of service to guests, and ensure that all clients are treated to a luxurious experience.
The Day Spa Receptionist is a newly created full-time position in which you will be responsible for making bookings, handling queries and providing administrative support where required. Spicers Tamarind are therefore seeking a candidate who is well presented, has excellent communication skills and phone demeanor. The ideal candidate will have a sales focus where they are actively encouraging and delivering the day spa experiences and benefits over the phone and/or face to face to enhance the guests experience and to ensure financial success.
To be considered, you will have experience in a comparative receptionist role or ideally have experience as a Massage/ Beauty and/ or Spa Therapist which would enable you to continue to provide these services to clients when required.
To be considered for the full-time Massage Therapist positions, candidates will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Remedial Massage and have at least 2 years experience as a Therapist, ideally in a massage, day spa or resort spa setting. You will require relevant Professional Association memberships, current CPR and First Aid certificates, as well as specialist modalities such as Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage or Deep Tissue. The roles are based at Spicers Tamarind, however there may be the need for you to work in the sister property Clovelly Estate.
For both roles, candidates with additional Hospitality experience, as well as resort experience will be held in high regard. More importantly will be your 'can-do attitude, your ability to provide excellent customer service and exceed guests' expectations.
