Due to expansion of services, Foremost Industries and Universal Industries are looking to hire several B Pressure Structural, Journeymen, and Apprentice Welders for a number of locations across Alberta. Locations include: Calgary, Bonnyville, Stettler, Grande Prairie, and Lloydminster.

About the Opportunity
Foremost Universal LP (FULP) and Foremost Industries LP (FILP) are looking for experienced Welders (B Pressure Structural Journeymen & Apprentices) to join their teams in Calgary, Bonnyville, Stettler, Grande Prairie, and Lloydminster.
The primary purpose of these roles is to use mig and/or stick welding processes to fabricate oil and gas processing equipment including tanks, vessels, and treaters.
More specifically, your working day will be made up of:
- Welding materials together using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and/or GMAW (gas metal arc welding);
- Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel);
- Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc);
- Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts;
- Performing quality control;
- Following directions given in drawings, blue prints and work orders; and
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
These positions will suit applicants who have their B Pressure Structural or Journeyman Certification and have several years experience in a similar role.
The successful 1st/2nd/3rd year Welding Apprentices will be a reliable, well organized person who is eager to learn, but can also be trusted to work unsupervised when required.
Most importantly, you will be an enthusiastic 'go getter' with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment. If you have high attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines, this is the role for you!
