About the Opportunity
Trafalgar Financial has exciting opportunities for dedicated Senior Taxation Managers to join their Perth teams on either a part-time or full-time basis.
As Senior Taxation Manager, you will use your extensive experience and initiative, in conjunction with our financial planners, to provide quality tax accounting services and holistic financial advice to key Trafalgar Financial clients.
In this leadership role, you will be the first point of contact for all key clients and act as a role model to less experienced members of the Trafalgar Financial team, assisting in group and in-house training and supporting their overall career progression. This is your chance to manage your own team and build your own client base!
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the successful candidate will have a high level of technical expertise gained through extensive experience in all areas of Australian taxation accounting and a proven management background within an Australian accounting practice.
You will have a degree in Accounting, be fully CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) and a current member of an Australian Accounting Body.
To be successful in this role, you will be a professional with highly developed communication and leadership skills. Above all, you will have a commitment to building strong client relationships through the provision of outstanding business services and the ability to develop rapport with a wide variety of clientele.
Experience in preparing financial and taxation documents for all entities including Companies, Trusts, Personal Super Funds and SMSF is essential, whilst Audit of and sign off on Super Fund Audits would be an advantage.
You'll enjoy plenty of task variety and the opportunity to work autonomously, while backed up by a supportive, friendly and cohesive team.
