About the Opportunity

The client is seeking a talented Administrator/Sales Support Officer to join their growing Brisbane sales team, based in Milton.

This is a highly varied, entry level role, ideal for an applicant with technical/mathematical skills who is looking for a long term career to grow into.

Under the guidance of an experienced Team Leader, you will learn how to prepare sales quotations, administer tender documentation, price and monitor project variations, liaise with site personel and provide a point of contact for our valued clients.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to progress into a Sales or Site Management position.

Additional duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Quantity take-offs from lay-out drawings;
  • Registering projects;
  • Creating project submissions and tenders;
  • Managing project purchasing, ordering and reporting;
  • Managing accounts and creating client files;
  • Communicating with a diverse client base; and
  • Team reporting.

The ideal candidate will have the hands-on experience and/or technical training to be able to understand the business' product range. Candidates with experience in a field such as Sales, Customer Service, Construction or Interior/Industrial Design are highly desirable, though not essential, as extensive training is provided. A basic level of computer literacy and proficency in Excel and Word is essential.

The client is seeking an applicant who is a team player and is highly organised and reliable with an eye for detail and a high level of communication skills, as you will need to be freely able to effectively communicate with clients. Most importantly, you will have an eagerness to learn and exceptional customer service skills.
