About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Macfarlane Generators has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hands-on Showroom Salesperson to join the team based in Clayton.
Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, you'll be promoting, demonstrating and selling electrical and mechanical equipment, most notably generators and accessories, within the Macfarlane Generators showroom.
This is a perfect role for an experienced Technical Sales Person who is looking to work within a stable sales environment, and without the daily travel associated with many Sales roles. Macfarlane Generators has undertaken recent refurbishment of its facilities, so you'll be selling clients the best power generation equipment, in the comfort of a modern and well-facilitated showroom.
To succeed in this role, you'll be an accomplished and proven Sales professional with a background in the electrical or mechanical industry. You'll need a wide general understanding of power generation, so you can discuss and advise on a wide range of issues about power generation installation with customers who don't have a technical background. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
You will be a self-motivated, physically fit and well organised person with the ability to provide written quotations to customers, and to use computers as part of your everyday work. Above all, it's your fantastic customer focus and 'can do' attitude that Macfarlane Generators is interested in!
