About the Opportunity
Macfarlane Generators is growing throughout Australia, and now has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Service Coordinator to join the team based in Clayton.
This is an opportunity to begin a long term career with one of Australia's leading power generator suppliers, taking over the role from the incumbent who has recently been promoted. As part of the Field Service Department, you'll be responsible for coordinating the Field Services Staff to ensure projects are carried out with commercial reality in mind and company processes are adhered to correctly.
More specifically, your duties will include:
- Project planning to enable an effective use of resources.
- Ensure all paper work is completed and submitted correctly;
- Developing schedules for clients and Field Service Staff alike;
- Liaising with customers in regards to their project;
- Assist in the issuing of invoices/quotes for Field Service work; and
- Ensure that the Service Department is contactable at all times for key accounts and extreme emergencies.
Macfarlane Generators is looking for an energetic individual with an aptitude for Electrical and/or Mechanical services as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings. Previous experience in a field services office-based role is essential.
You'll need to demonstrate effective organisational and multitasking skills as you will work with both the Field Services and Service Staff teams as well as customers from all over Victoria.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential, and you'll be accustomed to using computers for scheduling, quotes and invoicing. The successful candidate will have a high degree of logical thinking, along with a positive phone manner, great customer focus and a 'can do' flexible attitude!
