About the Opportunity
Our client, one of Newcastle's most respected law firms, is seeking a Business & Commercial Lawyer who shares their passion and commitment, to join their talented team.
The position calls for a commercially astute lawyer who is experienced in drafting and negotiating and advising on commercial and corporate contracts and handling business and commercial transactions, and will have particular emphasis on:
- Commercial contracts;
- Business formation and structures;
- Commercial leasing, including retail leases;
- Business/Companies sale and purchase;
- Sale and purchase of commercial properties
- Franchising/licensing;
- Corporations law; and
- Sales and purchases of hotels and other liquor licensing work
The successful applicant will be a confident lawyer with the ability to provide concise and quality advice to clients. You will need to display strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail and excellent drafting and time management skills.
