Kingfisher Bay Resort has a fantastic full time opportunity for an energetic Food and Beverage Supervisor to join their fun and supportive team on Fraser Island.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the supervision of staff in the Food and Beverage outlets and provide day-to-day assistance in general Food and Beverage operations. This will involve delivering client satisfaction through prompt and efficient service delivery whilst training and supporting staff in all areas of the operation.
More specifically, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Supervision of Food and Beverage staff;
- Delivering outstanding Food and Beverage services to our clients;
- Ensuring the presentation of food outlets is to a high standard;
- Training and supporting Food and Beverage staff; and
- Observing Workplace Health and Safety and Safe Food handling practices;
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in general food and beverage supervision plus restaurant and/or event service experience. You'll have a strong customer service focus, along with great people management skills to enable you to deliver an exceptional service to a high standard.
You will need demonstrated Barista and Beverage making skills, plus an understanding of cashier operations for the opening and closing of outlets. Kingfisher Bay Resort attracts a large number of guests each year from all over the world and strong communication skills along with a friendly, helpful and patient attitude is essential. As a supervisor in this customer-facing position, you will also require excellent personal presentation and a professional demeanor.
Along with a current driver's licence, you will also be supervising and assisting in the service of alcohol so you will need to hold a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
This full time role is working 5 days per week over a 7 day rotating roster.
