About the Organisation
National Telephone and Data group (NTD) commenced operations in 1994 and have since been awarded Telstra Business Systems (TBS) National Dealer of the year (2005 / 2006) and grown into one of Telstra’s largest national business partners.
NTD have supplied and established over 4000 business telephone systems with over a 1000 of these being Telstra branded TBS systems. In recent years NTD have added additional products and services to their portfolio to provide their clients with “holistic business solutions” including both FIXED LINE and MOBILE Voice and Data products.
NTD currently employs around 80 full-time technical, sales and administration staff across offices in Brisbane, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Townsville, Cairns, Rockhampton, Sydney and Perth.
About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth and development, the National Telephone and Data group is seeking three Business Development Managers, 1 for each of their teams in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Hervey Bay.
These are exciting opportunities for experienced sales consultants to join one of Queensland’s most dynamic and experienced telephone, data equipment and service providers.
In the role of Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships and engaging with NTD clients as well as developing links within the community with the assistance of the Sales Support team.
NTD has an exceptional market reputation with a significant edge over its competitors, with the best equipment, sales packaging, lead-base and personal development program available. These positions are perfect for motivated deal-closers with sales leads and networks already in place!
The ideal candidates will be driven sales professionals with proven solution selling skills and experience in business-to-business sales or account management. You will be highly driven, confident and un-afraid to cold call or canvass for new business.
You will be well presented with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to comfortably talk to a wide range of business and corporate clients. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, particularly in Rockhampton and Hervey Bay where you will drive all the sales in your team.
NTD provides full training on all of its products and applications, so specific telephone system sales experience is not essential. Your IT knowledge or experience would be highly beneficial when speaking to clients about NTD’s integrated data solutions.
About the Benefits
The successful candidates will be rewarded with a competitive base salary package circa $55,000 in Rockhampton and Hervey Bay and $80,000 in Brisbane, which includes car allowance ($15,000) plus super plus unlimited commissions and generous bonuses! Maintain a healthy work/life balance working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
