Working with SCOUT

SCOUT clients include Flight Centre Ltd (they use the system globally), Spiritus, Anglican Diocese, New Horizons, and DJH Safety.
The SCOUT software system was created and is owned by recruitment solutions provider Employment Office. Employment Office has been operating for 10 years, with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Vancouver and Toronto.

About the Opportunity
With some exciting growth plans for 2012, SCOUT is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join the Brisbane team in the new head office in Milton.
You'll be responsible for building and developing profitable relationships with potential clients by selling SCOUT recruitment software to businesses. There will be a mix of phone and face-to-face B2B sales as you proactively seek and generate new business.
With the backing of a globally successful recruitment business, SCOUT is an extremely valuable and functional e-recruitment system that requires a passionate, experienced sales professional who can recognise and capitalise on its USPs. To be successful in this role, you'll have significant experience as a hunter-style sales person. You'll be a skilled and persuasive communicator who is able to identify the recruitment needs of your clients and provide them with appropriate software solutions.
You'll have experience in sourcing your own leads with a proven track record of both telephone and face-to-face sales. Due to the nature of this position, the ideal candidate will be reasonably IT savvy.
Although experience with the recruitment or human resources industry would be highly regarded and would give you an advantage in this position, it is not essential. Any relevant qualifications/certificates would also be desired.
