About the Opportunity

St Hedwig Village has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team in Blacktown as a Weekend Supervisor.

Working in a hostel with Low Care residents, this hands-on supervisory role will start on a casual basis, with shifts on Saturday and Sunday 08:30 - 15:00, eventually leading to a permanent position.

You'll need to hold current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Registration, and have either experience or a genuine interest in the Aged Care sector. It would be highly advantageous to have a background in dementia care, and you'll need to have a strong understanding of care planning, ACFI documentation and accreditation principles. Experience with computerised resident management systems will be of benefit.

St Hedwig Village is seeking a "people person" with a high level of interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills, with the proven ability to lead and be part of a team delivering quality care to residents.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent hourly rate $26.47 - $ 33.54 (depending on experience) plus uniform/laundry allowances, casual penalties and shift penalties where applicable. Salary packaging options are also available for permanent staff.
