Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has a flexible part time opportunity for a Scientific/Technical Officer to work out of their Lismore laboratory. This is a 12 month personal leave relief position, working approximately 35 hours per week.
The main aim of this varied role is to perform medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and other disorders.
You'll have the flexibility to work on a range of shift times between 7am and 8.30pm with participation in the weekend and on call roster as required.

Along with a knowledge of LIS, OH&S and continuing education and quality systems, the successful candidate will need experience in haematology, biochemistry, blood bank, microbiology and/or histology.
You should have a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and work methodically in a fast-paced environment. You will also have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member, while being able to also work independently. The successful applicant will have a focus on providing quality customer service and patient care.
