Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a flexible part-time Pathology Specimen Collector to join their friendly team in Coffs Harbour.
The main aim of this role is to collect pathology specimens. You will also be required to record patient information, attend to the well-being of patients, receive account payments and liaise with referrers and ancillary services. The position will also entail some specimen reception duties and possibly data entry.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with dedication to excellent customer service and continuous improvement. You will also be computer literate, and preferably have some experience in data entry.
As well as a keen eye for detail, you must also be able to work independently as well as in a team, and demonstrate the ability to perform tasks meticulously, efficiently and in a timely manner.
Applicants must have a current driver's licence and first aid certificate as well as a reliable vehicle. You should be suitably qualified, with experience in venipuncture.
Availability is required between 7.00am and 7.00pm, Monday to Friday, along with participation in a Saturday roster. The ideal candidate must be flexible as the position hours vary depending on business requirements and rostering for leave relief.
