About the Opportunity
Premier Youthworks is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to manage the overall Human Resource function of the company.
Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the management team, the successful candidate will be required to build, implement and drive improvement in HR systems and strategies across the Company.
Key duties include:
- Ensure all legal and industrial obligations are met in regard to employees
- Promote and monitor a positive workplace culture
- Develop, implement and review Human Resource policy and procedure
- Provide assistance and guidance to managers regarding staff planning and development
- Oversee recruitment and selection of staff
- Manage and provide guidance on performance management and disciplinary procedures
- Investigate, mediate and resolve employee grievances and complaints
The successful candidate will possess:
- Developed professional skills and significant experience in handling Human Resource matters
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Knowledge and interpretation of NES, Award and EBA
- Knowledge and experience of workplace legislation and best practice
- Experience in industrial relations matters
