About the Opportunity

PRA has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/ Jobseeker Administrator to join their Disability Employment Services teams (DES) in Caringbah, Sydney.

The main aims of this position will be to provide reception duties, general office administration and assistance to jobseekers.

More specifically, you duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Accepting referrals and arranging intake interviews for employment consultants, including setting appointments on ESS 4 for the DES team;
  • Conducting data entry on and maintaining PRA databases;
  • Interfacing and communicating with Centrelink and other relevant agencies when applicable;
  • Ensuring reception area is manned and jobseekers appropriately accommodated;
  • Assisting jobseekers with job search;
  • Direct management of “drop in jobseekers” to the appropriate information source/EC;
  • Working with any administrative work experience employees to maintain tidy, efficient and welcoming reception area.

Ideally, candidates will possess relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar administration role. To be successful, you'll need a self-motivated and proactive attitude towards your work, and will possess strong clerical competencies and high computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software and competency in using databases. A working understanding of ESS 4 or a willingness to learn will be highly regarded.

You'll have the ability to work in a professional manner, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, including high telephone and customer service skills, are essential.

PRA are seeking candidates who have high attention to detail and organisational skills. This includes the ability to manage time frames and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
