About the Organisation
Directed Electronics is a young & dynamic company who specialise in distributing products through major national retailers, specialist chains and independent stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. We participate across a number of product categories, though our CE category’s success has seen growth through all major national retail chains, across Speaker Docks, Headphones & Accessories, and we want to build a strong team for the long term.
The Role
As an experienced account manager within the CE industry, you will be motivated to create new opportunities with independent stores both locally & nationally, and have a proven ability to drive sales though already established national accounts.
With our current stable of high profile, globally recognised brands, you will play in integral role in launching these brands locally. With a highly personable personality, you have the capacity to develop, grow and manage business relationships & a proven ability to maximise margin and revenue in designated accounts.
We Are Seeking
- A sound sales track record.
- Excellent sales skills, including negotiation and networking skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
- Computer skills in all Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
- You will target Specialist Chains and Independent stores as well as assist with the major National Consumer Electronics retailers, and use your established network to drive product to market.
- Occasional interstate travel will be required, though not a frequent necessity.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- You will have a high level of self drive & determination.
- A will to succeed is also a must.
