About the Opportunities
SunRice has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator to join the team based in Deniliquin, NSW.
This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career with a global company, based in a relaxed regional setting. Working as an integral part of the Deniliquin Mill Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for promoting a quality Safety, Health & Environment agenda to all site employees.
Using your safety coordination experience to be at the forefront of building a safe working culture, you'll have the autonomy to lead the site's SHE program as you see fit.
The successful applicant will have a background in similar roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment, with a proven history of successfully implementing safety and environment processes that align with business procedures. You'll need the commercial experience to be able to capture data report trends and OH&S statistics, and analyse and report on how they affect the Deniliquin site.
You'll need to hold relevant tertiary qualifications at Certificate IV or above, as well as a Safety Auditor Accreditation and sound understanding of relevant and current legislative requirements, systems and practices. It's essential you have experience in management systems AS/NZS 9001:2008, 4801:2001, while a background in managing a return to work and rehabilitation program is also important. All applicants will require a current driver's licence.
As a leader in the greater team, you'll need to demonstrate high level planning, organisation and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and influentially with a range of colleagues and external stakeholders.
