The OSSA Services team is divided into 3 separate departments: Building and Design, Response Centre and Special Projects, each headed by fully qualified staff.
About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, OSSA Services has exciting opportunities for a number of Response Customer Service Consultants to join its South Melbourne team.
As part of the Response Customer Service team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and monitoring maintenance services and quotation requests from clients and site managers. This is a telephone-based role in which no two days will be the same, as you assess maintenance requests and select appropriate contractors to undertake each job.
Working business hours Monday - Friday, this is an excellent opportunity to find stable full time hours for a customer service representative with exposure to a trades environment.
The primary requirement for this role is a strong customer service focus, as you develop relationships with clients and site managers, as well as colleagues within the organisation. You will need to be a real team player with excellent communication skills, especially over the phone, and a high level of enthusiasm. You'll need to demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to client requests, and ensuring that emergency responses are dealt with to reach a "client safe" status. Ideally you'll have experience in a call centre environment, though this is not essential.
It would be beneficial to have a trade or maintenance background, or exposure to working in a trade services environment, giving you an existing understanding of how to assign contractors appropriately, based on specific skill, qualification and cost requirements. You'll need to be computer literate and have the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
