About the Opportunity
Tile Wizards have exciting opportunities for Area Managers, Store Managers and multiple Sales Consultants to join their dynamic Brisbane and Adelaide teams. Those in Brisbane will work a 6 day week with 2 RDOS a month, whilst those in Adelaide will work a 5 day week on a 7 day roster.
The Area Manager will be responsible for the profit and loss of stores within their region.
In the role of Store Manager you will assist the Sales Consultants working on the front line, helping clients choose from a range of ceramic tile products to complete a variety of builder and home owner projects whilst ensuring consultants meet individual and team sales targets.
More specifically, your core duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Completing sales quotes and invoices;
- Reading floor plans and calculating tile and adhesive estimates;
- Packing orders;
- Keeping store and its amenities clean and tidy; and
- Updating tile displays and promotional material.
Tile Wizards is seeking dedicated Area Managers and Store Managers, with experience managing and motivating a team of sales consultants, as well as pro-active Sales Consultants looking to make a career in the building and home improvement industry! Sales Consultants with a background in retail are preferred. For the Area Manager role, it is essential that you have extensive experience in the tile, carpet or timber industry.
Most importantly applicants will have excellent communication skills and the maturity to discuss builder and home renovation projects confidently with customers. Trade knowledge and experience in the tile, timber or carpet industries would be advantageous.
You will need the ability to do sales quotes and invoices and also be capable of reading floor plans, with the mathematical skills to calculate tile and adhesive estimates. The successful candidate will have a current forklift licence, or the ability to undergo training to gain this certificate - as paid for by Tile Wizards!
Excellent attention to detail coupled with a flexible approach will ensure your success in this role. Successful candidates will be highly professional with a common sense approach to their work. If you are a team player with the ability to work autonomously, this is the opportunity for you!
