Established in 2002, Plasvacc is an Australian pharmaceutical company that manufactures and distributes high quality blood plasma products used to supplement the immune response system in animals to the veterinary industry. About the Opportunities
Due to unprecedented sales growth within the business, Plasvacc has exciting full time opportunities for three results-driven Sales Representatives (Veterinary/Animal Health) to join their dynamic team. In these positions, you will be working from home as well as travelling to surrounding areas as required to meet client needs. Ideally you will be based in Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne, however due to the nature of this role there is flexibility surrounding your base location. Recent veterinary science or veterinary nurse graduates will be considered.
This is a pivotal role for an experienced and successful sales professional, that will see you selling alternative products (as opposed to antibiotics) to the animal health and veterinary markets aimed at boosting animal immune systems to fight disease.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with new and existing clients, through face to face and over the phone meetings. Additionally, you will be assisting distributors with the sales of Plasvacc products to third parties.
More specifically, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Setting up appointments and travelling to meet clients;
- Liaising with resellers and veterinarians on the products offered by Plasvacc;
- Fostering current accounts and building new accounts;
- Delivering high levels of customer service to all clients and prospects;
- Working to surpass set sales targets; and
- Communicating with the National Sales Manager and Head Office on a regular basis with your progress.
Plasvacc is looking for proactive, enthusiastic and target-driven salespeople with a passion for animal health. Importantly, you'll bring your extensive sales experience and 'do what it takes to get the job done' attitude to the table to ensure you achieve success in this role.
Previous experience within the industry, particularly with an equine and canine product sales background, along with a highly developed technical ability will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
To be successful, you will be a tenacious self-starter who possesses an unsurpassed drive and enthusiasm and a natural desire to win new business and build strong relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital, as you will be constantly liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you'll be a team player with strong problem-solving and time management skills will be essential to your success, as you work autonomously to achieve set targets.
Flexibility and a current driver's licence is essential for these roles as you will be travelling regularly to surrounding areas to meet client demand as well as attending veterinary conferences when required.
