About RichmondPRA and our role in the Community
RichmondPRA is the result of two well-known and respected organisations—Richmond Fellowship of NSW and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Australia (PRA)—merging in mid-2012 in order to provide more choice and services across NSW and Queensland.
United, we are dedicated to helping people on their mental health recovery journey. This may be through help finding a home that is safe and secure, assistance with training and getting a job, or encouragement to develop friendships and learn new things. We also offer specific services for Aboriginal people, youth and women with children.
People are at the heart of everything we do, and we take great pride in being a quality provider of recovery-oriented services in the community.
Why join our team?
RichmondPRA is a great place to work. When you become part of our team, you work with people who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of other people. You will help people build their life skills, increase their social inclusion and community participation, and get involved in day-to-day activities and services—all things so often taken for granted.
RichmondPRA positions are open to all suitably qualified applicants. We have a strong consumer workforce, with close to thirty per cent of our staff identifying as someone with a lived experience of mental illness. We encourage people with lived experience of mental illness, carers, people from culturally linguistic diverse communities, and people from aboriginal communities to apply.
About the Opportunity
RichmondPRA has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mental Health Worker to work within their Rehabilitation and Accommodation Support Programs in Queanbeyan.
