About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, OneTrak has an exciting opportunity for a Spare Parts Interpreter to join their dynamic team in Dandenong, VIC.
Reporting to the National Spare Parts Manager, you will be responsible for processing customer orders from initial inquiry to the final dispatching stage. Additionally, you will be performing warehousing duties, including the picking and packing of parts to fill customer requests.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to build their career with a medium sized, rapidly growing business which has recently opened two branches, one in Tumut, NSW and the other in Bunbury, WA.
Some of your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Interpreting spare part requests from customers;
- Putting away stock orders in the warehouse;
- Picking and packing of customer orders;
- Assisting the parts team to achieve their set budgets by developing parts sales; and
- Answering customer queries over the telephone.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in parts warehousing and interpreting, ideally within earth-moving or motor vehicle dealership environments. Importantly, you will have a mechanical background and a strong mechanical aptitude, along with a sound knowledge of inventory, specifically in sales and value. Demonstrated experience in web based and printed medium parts interpretation is essential to be considered for this position.
Your communication skills will be second to none, giving you the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and customers. Additionally, you'll have excellent time management skills, and will be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
You will have to be dedicated to exceptional customer service and be confident working to deadlines under pressure. Computer literacy skills are vital, and you will ideally have experience using the ERANET software program (a Pentana product formerly known as Reynolds & Reynolds), however this is not essential.
Candidates that hold a current forklift licence will be highly regarded.
