My name is Chris and I am celebrating my 9 month anniversary with Employment Office (EO). Since joining EO in January I have experienced first hand the support of an organisation dedicated to developing and nurturing their employees.
My background is not in sales, however I was passionate about starting a career in sales and really wanted to get my foot in the door. I applied for a Sales & Account Executive role with EO, without any solid B2B sales experience, just a motivated and determined attitude, and I have never looked back.
What appealed to me about EO was the structure they have in place to coach their sale novice's. You join the Sales & Account Executive Academy for 3 months where you are mentored by the best in business and you learn through role play and hands on tasks. After your first 3 months you continue to work closely with your Team Leader to put your learning into practice.
When job hunting I found that all organisations highlight their "growth plans" for potential employees, however, at EO, the growth is visible everyday. In the past 9 months I have seen new offices opening up in Australia and Internationally and new teams being developed.
Working in an organisation with solid growth plans impacts directly on the employees and provides amazing development opportunities - something that I have also experienced first hand. Thanks to the commitment of my Team Leader and the Academy I have fast tracked from a Novice to a Future Team Leader and I am proud to say I am the fastest employee to do this! I am not alone in progressing either as EO actively promote and encourage career progression.
I strongly believe my success lies in the work environment at EO. We work as a team every day, celebrating successes, learning from one another all whilst having fun and a good laugh! EO is not short on incentives either, the uncapped commission structure helps to keep motivation levels high, and we always send our top performers to our Global Conferences. In July, we were in Whistler, Canada and I am working my way towards next year's Global Conference in Macau!
