About the Opportunity

Greek Orthodox Community of St. George GOC Care has a part time (0.4 EFT) opportunity for a Quality Officer to join their team based in South Brisbane.

Reporting to the Greek Orthodox Community of St. George GOC Care Director, you will coordinate and manage the ongoing quality management systems as they relate to Greek Orthodox Community of St. George GOC Care's programs and projects. This is a key leadership position that has responsibility for managing all aspects of quality assurance as well as the future strategic direction of quality management for Greek Orthodox Community of St. George GOC Care.

Your day to day duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring that the delivery of programs and services is in line with agreed quality standards;
  • Managing the development, implementation, maintenance and support of a range of Quality Assurance projects;
  • Managing all accreditation process including ISO certification;
  • Managing the modification of the Quality Management System including integrating it with other organisational systems;
  • Documenting, reviewing and evaluating projects related to Quality Assurance; and
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through the identification of opportunities for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary degree or diploma in Quality Assurance or Auditing coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in the community sector, ideally within an Aged Care or Disability environment. Additionally, you'll have a proven track record of Quality Assurance project success including the management of accreditation processes.

Greek Orthodox Community of St. George GOC Care is looking for a goal oriented and flexible leader who is willing to approach new challenges and adjust plans to meet changing priorities. You'll be highly professional and will have the ability to make sound decisions based on experience and available information.

Importantly, you will take a strategic approach to goal setting and will understand the wider context and long term goals of QA projects you develop and implement.
