What is Employment Office?

Despite what you might be thinking, Employment Office (EO) is NOT a recruitment agency. Borne out of a great idea and an understanding of what employers want, we provide customised, intelligent recruitment advertising, marketing and candidate management services to employers throughout Australia and internationally. Our key strength lies in creating recruitment campaigns with unique candidate attraction strategies that enable clients to tap into the best talent pools, and we're proud to say that over 90% of our clients are repeat customers. We've disrupted the traditional recruitment industry in a big way — and we're not planning on stopping.

In line with our aggressive expansion plans, Employment Office recently opened offices in the US and Canada, and plans to target New Zealand, South Africa and South East Asia next. To realise this, we'll need to hit our target of 2,500 energetic, ambitious and dedicated employees by 2020. It's a lofty goal, but with year-on-year growth in market share, revenue and profit, it's one we're confident in achieving.

About the Recruitment Advertising & Marketing Service

Advertising and Marketing in the Recruitment space is a challenging, diverse and exciting area. Reaching a target market as varied as job seeker groups is no easy task, and our specialists tackle that challenge every day, creating robust and innovative campaigns and collateral that reach out to both active and passive candidates in a wide range of industries and locations — from Remote Area Nurses in outback Australia to general managers in Papua New Guinea. They write researched, compelling copy for recruitment webpages, plan and execute advertising and marketing tactics across client campaigns, liaise with suppliers, meet with clients, and coordinate Employer Branding initiatives like social media, blogs, collateral creation, branding, website strategy and more. It's an advertising and marketing role like no other, and our team members truly are experts in their field.

Who we're looking for

To cater for an increasing client base and expansion of services, we're on the lookout for an energetic, quick thinking and personable individual to join our global head office team as a Copywriting and Advertising Coordinator.

Working within our Recruitment Advertising and Marketing team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of advertising and marketing campaigns for our clients. This will include copy writing for recruitment webpages, executing advertising across client campaigns as well as providing you with the opportunity to help coordinate Employer Brand initiatives like social media, blogs, collateral creation, branding, website strategy and more.

Working with our clients, you'll have the opportunity to put your copy writing, marketing skills and solutions-focused approach to good use, and work with a team of specialists to continually grow the advertising services we can offer to our clients.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Copy writing and executing advertising strategies for our clients;
  • Working with a candidate management system and CRM system as well as advertising suppliers;
  • Creating and delivering recruitment marketing projects for clients;
  • Analysing and reporting on the results of advertising initiatives;
  • Overseeing all aspects of an advertising campaign, ensuring all advertising is accounted for and submitted by deadline;
  • Liaising with key internal & external stakeholders regarding status of recruitment campaigns and results of advertising; and
  • Performing administrative / office duties, including answering the telephone and liaising with job seekers.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of marketing, advertising or communications, ideally with previous experience. You'll also require outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

This role is ideal for a highly detailed communication guru, someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and put in the hard yards to execute successful campaigns. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Importantly, you'll be confident and polished, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders, clients and suppliers.

People who have succeeded in this role in the past offered a combination of marketing expertise, creative ability, attention to detail and, when executing advertising/marketing campaigns, the ability and willingness to deliver high volumes of similar (and occasionally repetitive) work. In addition, you'll need excellent computer literacy skills.

This is a highly process-driven role, in which you will be working within established administrative systems and adhering to strict KPIs and deadlines. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable and self motivated to achieve great outcomes.

If you are looking for a career and not just another job, where you can hone your skills within a well established and innovative organisation — this is the role for you!

About the Benefits

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive salary package (base plus incentives), negotiable dependent on skills and experience.

Furthermore, EO offers its staff award-winning, world renowned benefits, including free health advice, financial planning and a myriad of social events. For example, our high achievers attended Flight Centre's 2013 Global Ball in Cancun, and have their sights firmly set on Macau for 2014!

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team from marketing, journalism and communications backgrounds. As a growing organisation, this team is also expected to expand with career-defining opportunities both in Australia and abroad available.
