About the Opportunity

To help continue our success, we're looking for a Marketing Communications & Publicity Executive to join our global head office in Milton, Brisbane.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for leading the direction and implementation of corporate marketing communications across the business, as well as identifying and generating publicity opportunities and media exposure for Employment Office and its associated brands/events.

More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Delivering on communication strategies for the business to drive enquiry and boost brand awareness;
  • Developing marketing and publicity plans and writing marketing collateral and press releases;
  • Building strong working relationships with key media, pitching releases, coordinating interviews and responding to requests;
  • Liaising with our overseas teams on global projects and initiatives; and
  • Assisting with the maintenance and development of the Marketing and Publicity department, with a focus incorporating best practices.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a marketing communications and/or publicity role, ideally within the B2B sector. You'll have a strong understanding of how to best apply the marketing communications mix, as well as the importance of ROI. Relevant tertiary qualifications are essential.

This role will suit a go-getter with the initiative, drive and enthusiasm to make this role their own. Strong and confident communication skills, along with a passion for producing compelling, targeted and effective communications will be essential for your success. Working with key leaders in the business, you'll need the ability to work effectively in a busy and high pressured environment as well as the capacity to juggle priorities effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
