About the Opportunity

Due to exciting growth, Heat has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic sales extraordinaire to join their team as State Sales Manager- NSW.

Reporting directly to the National Pharmacy Manager, you will plan, lead and control activities of the regional sales team and be responsible for the continued growth of the business through the achievement of sales, distribution and financial budget targets.

Your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Planning and directing the activities of the sales team;
  • Developing and implementing a business plan and sales strategy for the market;
  • Initiating and coordinating the development of action plans to identify sales prospects and penetrate new markets;
  • Monitoring and managing state and individual expenses in line with budgetary requirements;
  • Providing timely feedback to senior management regarding performance;
  • Contributing to the development of the marketing plan and coordinating marketing activity; and
  • Conducting regular coaching and counselling with the sales team to build motivation and selling skills.

Heat is looking for a passionate sales professional with experience in FMCG and proven success in a sales role. You will be financially savvy, with experience in developing and monitoring sales budgets and targets as well as business planning. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience in leading a team to successfully achieve sales targets. It's important you have a solid understanding of the pharmacy sales process in particular.

The successful candidate will be a natural when it comes to customer service, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. In addition to your customer relationship management skills, you will be able to influence and negotiate effectively, and speak persuasively.

As a motivated self starter, you will relish taking on challenges and making things happen. You'll also have impeccable organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously under pressure.
