About the Opportunity
CCG Australia has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Storeperson to join their team in Perth, working on a full-time basis, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Acting as an integral link between the sales office and the workshop, this highly autonomous role will see you responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse as well as overseeing all incoming and outward goods and warehouse activities related to CCG Australia.
Some of your day-to-day roles and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Maintaining relevant quality assurance documentation;
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks;
- Recording all incoming and outgoing freight;
- Ordering workshop essentials;
- Planning future stock level and purchasing from suppliers; and
- Upkeeping site maintenance.
The successful candidate will be a mature person with approximately 10 years experience. Ideally, you will be familiar with electrical wholesaling distribution, with a solid understanding of electrical cable data sheets and basic electrical industrial and hazardous area classifications. Applicants with a background in electrical wholesale and/or electrical installation will be highly regarded.
This role requires a reasonable amount of day-to-day heavy lifting (20kg+), therefore the successful candidate must be suitably fit and healthy to perform these tasks. Additionally, you will demonstrate reasonable computer literacy skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.
A motivated self-starter, you will take pride in your work and thrive in an autonomous environment. A current forklift licence and drivers licence, as well as access to a reliable vehicle, are essential for this postition.
