About the Opportunity
Due to continuing growth, Ausmar Homes has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor (Residential) to join their team. This role will be based between the Sunshine Coast and North Lakes, QLD.
Working with the Construction Manager, you will be assisting with the building and timely completion of new residential developments.
More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Ensuring the building of quality homes to budget in a timely manner;
- Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers; and
- Organising the inspection of completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
To be successful in this role, you must hold construction trade qualifications, and have project management experience in Volume Build or Residential Construction. Experience working in supervisory roles, as well as a strong background working in the building industry will be highly regarded. A passion for producing high quality homes, along with excellent knowledge of Building Codes and Australian Standards will aid your success in this pivotal role.
Ausmar Homes is seeking a bright, energetic self-starter, with the ability to work under minimal supervision, and respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations.
You'll consider yourself detail-oriented and highly organised with good time management skills. Importantly, you will be proactive in your role, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, and a calm approach to a fast-paced environment.
You will have a good understanding of OH&S requirements, along with good computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
