About the Opportunity
RGM Property Surveys is is a growing surveying organisation based in Bella Vista, Sydney. Run by two Directors, with a team of four staff, the culture is one of professionalism in a relaxed environment.
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is available for an Experienced Land Surveyor to join RGM Property Surveys' small and friendly team based in Bella Vista, and operating throughout metropolitan Sydney.
Working closely with the Director, this position will primarily be responsible for providing contour/topographical surveys and set-out surveys for both low and high density construction projects. You'll also liaise with clients and project staff, ensure project deliverables are met and undertake some administrative work.
The successful candidate will have a TAFE or University qualification in Land Surveying coupled with proven experience in contour surveying and/or cadastral surveying as well as leading a field party. Proficiency using CivilCAD 7 or CivilCAD Magnet will be essential in this role. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Viva Robotic Total Station will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
As you will be working closely with clients and other project staff, you will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll also demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems and methods as well as have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deadlines. Working well independently you'll also be committed to achieving outstanding results with the RGM Property Surveys team.
A current Construction White Card and manual driver's licence will also be necessary.
In return for your hard-work and dedication you will enjoy an attractive salary up to $75,000 p.a. (inclusive of super), commensurate with your qualifications and experience. You'll also benefit from generous performance-based bonuses and the use of a laptop and a fully maintained and regularly upgraded Toyota Hilux.

This role offers the flexibility of working from home for non-field work, when suitable. On occasion, projects may have an urgent request arise, which may require weekend work, enabling you to earn overtime pay rates.
