About the Opportunity

Due to their rapid expansion Johnson's Truck & Coach Service has a great opportunity for a Branch Controller (Spare Parts & Service).

The role is responsible for maintaining and supervising the Spare Parts Department and includes managing and supervising staff. 

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Co-ordinating and managing an orderly Parts Department with parts stored in proper locations for easy access and ensuring parts inventories and stock levels are appropriate, valued correctly and maintained;
  • Co-coordinating and managing sales to retail, trade, fleets and workshops;
  • Overseeing and managing spare parts goods received, sales, credits and returns;
  • Maintaining departmental records and update staff on changes in technical and procedural information; and
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have strong long term experience in Parts Interpreting and Sales. You'll bring with you the experience to direct, coordinate and instruct your team to ensure parts are sourced correctly.  Importantly, you'll be confident in giving direction where necessary and ensuring customer service standards are upheld.

Previous experience in a sales environment is essential and you will need to bring a dynamic, ambitious and results driven attitude to the Johnson's Truck and Coach Service team.

Johnson's Truck and Coach Service are looking for an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.  You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is required ensuring you are able to respond to emergency parts requirements in a timely manner.

The ability to learn and understand new software is essential in succeeding in this role, as you'll be using specialist software daily to manage all aspects of the spare parts department.
