Who is the William Campbell Foundation?

William Campbell Foundation (WCF) is an accredited, progressive and exciting not-for-profit organisation that focuses on providing accommodation and care for children experiencing pain and loss associated with abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Due to WCF’s Founder and CEO, Bill Campbell, (OAM), experiencing a childhood similar to the children we take care of, his DNA is embedded in the organisation’s determination to provide children with a professional and high standard of care.

Since its first intake of children in 2004, WCF has been constantly growing, and now serves children and young people across the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and South Coast regions of NSW. WCF is currently caring for 91 children, within the general community of Wollongong , Shoalhaven and South Coast.

WCF has set up Supported Family Group Homes on their farming property as a family-type care option that focuses on large sibling groups who cannot be placed in relative, kinship or general foster care. Live-in Foster Carers provide the children with a stable family environment.
