About the Opportunity

Fremantle Hydraulics has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to hit the ground running as an Experienced Hydraulic Technician in Henderson, Perth.

Working within this reputable company, you will be providing mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic and service skills to clients. This will include servicing, repairing and testing a broad range of hydraulic equipment and components.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include:

• Attending to enquiries and call outs on breakdowns, troubleshooting and fault-finding;
• Engaging in preventative maintenance and on-site upgrades and modifications;
• Delivering quality service to meet or exceed customer expectations; and
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in compliance with company quality, OH&S and environmental policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Hydraulic Fitter with a hands-on approach, who has worked for a hydraulics company. It is essential that you have experience working with a hydraulic company.

A thorough understanding of hydraulics is essential, including hose and fittings hydraulic pumps, motors and valves. In addition, you will be able to interpret and apply engineering drawings and hydraulic circuit diagrams.

On top of strong hydraulics experience, you will need excellent time management and organisational skills, along with the ability to prioritise and analyse problems, gather diagnostic information and work in complex frameworks. You'll have an avid interest in machinery design and application, and will enjoy technical and engineering activities.

Importantly, you will be an achievement-orientated, competent and enthusiastic individual who works comfortably within a team environment. Your excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with your ability to multitask effectively will ensure your success in this role.
