About the Opportunity

Theobald Lawyers has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Conveyancer / Property PA to join their team based in Nagambie, VIC.

Reporting to the Property Solicitor and Office Manager, you'll be responsible for managing conveyancing files after initial advice and instructions, all the way through to settlement. You'll also be required to back up and assist with general administration tasks, including answering phones and taking dictation.

This role is offered for the first 3 months on a part-time basis, with potential to move into a full-time position thereafter.

Some of your day-to-day activities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Preparing relevant legal documentation and correspondence;
  • Obtaining searches and other information as required for effective conduct of matters;
  • Performing administration duties efficiently, such as answering / screening calls and coordinating file management procedures;
  • Arranging and attending settlements;
  • Preparing invoices, statements of account and settlement statements; and
  • Liaising with stakeholders and clients.

The successful applicant will have some experience with conveyancing, including the preparation of adjustments. You'll ideally also have some experience with LEAP operating software.
