About the Opportunity

Due to their continued growth and expansion, Byrne Design has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Civil Design Draftsperson to join their team based in Darwin, NT.

This role will see the successful applicant responsible for undertaking designs and documentations for a variety of public and private sector clients.

Your days will consist of preparing detailed designs and documentations for a variety of civil works including, of storm water systems, sub divisions and road works. You'll also have lead design teams and will act as a mentor to junior employees.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of ten years experience in the geometric design and documentation of roads, intersections, roundabouts, car parks, storm water drainage, buildings site works and/or other general civil works. This will be coupled with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 12D modelling software. Formal qualifications in civil engineering will be highly regarded.

Byrne Design is seeking applications from versatile and proactive candidates, who can effectively complete a diverse range of duties and projects autonomously. You'll be well organised, have excellent problem solving skills  and demonstrate the ability to use initiative when managing numerous tasks and meeting deadlines.

You'll also have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise confidently and professionally with colleagues, clients and real estate agents. Importantly, your efficient approach and excellent work ethic will ensure you complete projects in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Benefits

In return for your hard work, you'll also enjoy a great salary circa $70,000 to $80,000, negotiable based on your skills and experience!
