About the Opportunity
Macfarlane Generators now has an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Product Marketing and Advertising Coordinator to join their head office, based in Clayton.
This is an opportunity to begin a long term career with one of Australia's leading power generator suppliers. Reporting to the Contracts\Projects Sales Department Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating the marketing, advertising and promotion of Macfarlane Generators' products through a variety of publications.
Some of your specific duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing and presenting material for media advertising;
- Maintaining promotional materials, logos and clothing;
- Maintaining the reference library and manuals;
- Preparing and distributing For Sale lists for internal and external users;
- Producing PowerPoint presentations for meetings;
- Prepping and executing exhibitions, shows and field days;
- Designing and formatting web content and maintaining company internet presence; and
- Creating news letters and brochures.
Macfarlane Generators is looking for a creative and energetic team player with a keen eye for detail. You'll need tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a similar field or have a background in coordinating marketing activities. Additionally, you'll have experience in web design and formatting.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential as you will be liaising with suppliers and potential clients. This role has a direct impact on sales figures across company branches, so you will need to be multi-functional, with the ability to solve problems independently and juggle tasks with ease.
Industrial electrical aptitude will be viewed upon favourably, as will knowledge of mechanical mechanisms.
