About the Opportunities
Due to exciting expansion, The Signcraft Group has two fantastic opportunities for a full time experienced State Sales Manager and a Business Development Executive to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and/or the State Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing sales from both new and existing clients within New South Wales, while also mentoring and developing the Sales team with a focus on building and meeting target budgets, for yourself and the team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Analysing sales opportunities at a local level, and developing detailed plans to achieve key sales objectives;
- Keeping up-to-date with Signcraft product developments, ensuring the local sales team has the most current solutions;
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Leveraging partnerships within the organisation, as well as with external industry contacts and customers;
- Proactively working to expand and advance sales opportunities to a national level; and
- Delivering results against the organisation's sales strategy, both in personal and team's business development.
These are pivotal roles within a highly successful national business. The Signcraft Group is looking for passionate sales professionals with relevant tertiary qualifications and proven success in a consultative sales role as well as extensive experience in a business development role. Qualifications in business, sales management, people management or equivalent and experience in the signage industry are highly desirable, but not essential.
You'll be self-motivated, organised and team-oriented, with excellent time-management skills. Additionally, you'll have a confident and approachable personality, with the ability to tackle problems analytically and strategically. You'll also have the ability to generate workable solutions for customers and stakeholders, coupled with strong lead generation skills. A well-developed pattern of target setting, motivation and enthusiasm will be critical to your success in this role.
Signcraft is seeking a 'people-person' with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, who is able to communicate with ease and authority to a diverse audience. A self motivated 'go getter' who is able to work comfortably and accurately in a fast-paced environment, you will be proactive in your approach and not afraid to take the initiative to get the job done. Additionally, you will be able to apply your excellent problem solving skills to the task at hand and adapt easily to changing conditions.
You'll demonstrate strong business acumen and financial awareness, always considering issues from a 'big picture' perspective. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and prior knowledge of the Epicor System would be advantageous. An understanding of corporate branding and/or a working knowledge of the signage industry is essential.

About the Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, the State Sales Manager will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package circa $90,000 plus super (commensurate with experience). Your on target earnings will be roughly $130,000 - $140,000 p.a. with a simple commission structure based on sales performance.
The Business Development Executive will enjoy an attractive remuneration package circa $70,000-$75,000 plus super (commensurate with experience). Your on target earnings will be roughly $120,000 p.a. with a simple commission structure based on sales performance.
