About the Opportunity

Due to ongoing expansion and growth, Ausmar is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join their team based in Maroochydore, QLD, on a full-time basis.

Reporting to xxxxxx, you’ll be responsible for designing fully-accessible, comprehensive and specialist residential projects, construction drawings and required documentation for construction projects. Your work will adhere to the requirements specified by Ausmar as well as local Council and subdivision regulations and laws.

Ausmar is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated prior experience as a draftsman/designer, preferably within residential construction. You’ll have a strong understanding of Queensland building regulations, particularly accessible housing guidelines, with a passion for new home designs and current building trends.

Excellent communication and customer service skills will see you liaising with clients to build strong, lasting relationships. Your highly organised nature will see you managing competing priorities to meet tight deadlines, whilst exceptional problem solving skills will see you resolving issues as they arise.

Strong computer literacy and technological aptitude is a key requirement of this role, with a sound understanding of AutoCAD(?) key to your success. Candidates with an understanding of ReVit (?) will be considered favourably. Successful candidates must have a current driver's licence.
