Negociants Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Retail and On-Premise Territory Manager to join their charismatic team in Sydney's eastern suburbs. This position has become available due to an internal overseas promotion.

As the Retail and On-Premise Territory Manager, you'll be responsible for the continued growth and profitability of your sales territory through your management of existing client portfolios. Additionally, you will develop effective business relationships with clients using key decision makers throughout your area. More specifically, your day-to-day duties may include;

  • Managing the existing customer base;
  • Stimulating new business relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Driving area growth and profitability;
  • Exceeding sales distribution targets;
  • Preparing product submissions for clients;
  • Conducting consumer tasting and staff familiarisation; and,
  • Regular territory reporting.

This position is for a vibrant, energetic and dedicated individual who is committed to meeting and exceeding each and every target they are given. An in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage and imported wine industries is an absolute must. The ideal candidate will be someone who is ready to hit the ground running and is keen to make sales.

Relying on your commercial acumen to understand each customer's business is important and demonstrated business nous, as well as verbal and interpersonal communication skills, are essential for your success in this position. Maintaining your key accounts, you'll be required to employ a strategic and "big picture" approach as you grow your accounts with a long term view in mind.

This position needs an excellent communicator with a real customer-focused approach to their work. They need to be fast-paced and organised, with a drive for making positive business relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients. Your vibrant and fun-loving attitude will be a welcomed addition to the diverse and highly skilled team at Negociants Australia.Your leadership qualities and drive will help you push yourself and your team to achieve strong results every day.

Intermediate computer literacy is highly desirable as is the experience with, or the ability to quickly learn how to use CRM software, Salesforce in particular. Additionally, experience within sales is not necessary, but would be highly beneficial.
